France midfielder Franck Ribéry believes that he and Karim Benzema will be able to set Euro 2008 alight, despite their side's 0-0 friendly draw against Paraguay...
Ribéry, of Bayern München, feels that he and Olympique Lyonnais hitman Karim Benzema are beginning to flourish together at international level.
He said to UEFA.com, "Myself and Karim have a good understanding.
"We get on well on the pitch and off it also."
Coach Raymond Domenech, meanwhile, was more interested in squad matters as a whole, particularly in light of the fact that Patrick Vieira could be out injured.
The boss remarked, "We still have 23 players in the squad and they're all preparing for the game on 9 June."
The final step in terms of warming up for Euro 2008 comes against Colombia on Tuesday.
Thierry Henry proferred, "We'll have a clearer idea of our starting eleven after that game."
