Portugal beat Czech Republic 3-1 to ensure its qualification on Quarter-finals of the Euro 2008. Portugal scored 3 goals whereas Czech only managed single goal. Portugal took the lead with 1-0 on 8 th minute after the Deco goal. This lead was for just 9 minutes when Sionko of Czech scored equaliser to make 1-1 in 17 th min. Till lots of chances going away from goal, first half ended with 1-1 draw.

After the interval both started more attacking but the success goes only who shows more so Portugal yet another rime took lead in the match with Cristiano scoring in the 63 rd min. Czech had lots of equaling moments but couldn't utilize it. But in another hand Portugal utilized yet another moment to score from the goal of Quaresma on 90+ min.
